Wastewater lagoons are used to treat and
disperse wastewater from individual homes
and can be eligible for Cost Share when a wastewater system in a home, that is presently lived in, has been declared a failing system. Determination of a failing system is done by the County Sanitarian, Sherry Koster.
About Cost Share programs :
Conservation practices that are funded with federal or state funds must be designed to meet NRCS State Field Office Technical Guide requirements.
Construction must meet NRCS design specifications to receive payment.
Practice construction that exceeds NRCS design will be at the producer's expense.
It is recommended that landowners request construction and installation cost estimates after receiving the design documents for their planned practice.
